Who am I? The story of the shop, told by Doriane 💛

My name is Doriane and I'm a mum of three — two girls and a boy. At home, clothes move from one size to the next in no time: some are worn for just a few months… and yet stay as good as new.
Loving kids' fashion, lovely brands, colours and prints, I started hunting more and more in second-hand. You often find very beautiful pieces there, just waiting for a new story.
And then there's real life: children who run, play, create… like my son and his shirts regularly turned into paint masterpieces. Let's just say it goes down much better when you bought it second-hand. 😄
Buying second-hand, I realised you can make great finds… but it often takes a lot of time: searching, comparing, asking questions, sometimes receiving an item that isn't quite what you imagined.
I wanted to make all that simpler.
To create a clear, reassuring place where parents easily find lovely pre-selected pieces, save time, save money and buy without bad surprises. Les Jolies Trouvailles was born from this very concrete idea: making families' lives easier while giving a second life to clothes that deserve it.
I'm meticulous, organised, and I like things done properly. So here, everything passes through my hands.
I select each piece demandingly, inspect its condition, wash and iron it, take the photos myself and write precise descriptions. If there's the slightest detail to point out, it's always mentioned.
For me, trust comes through transparency. I'd rather offer fewer items, but be sure of every single one.
Less time searching, more joy finding.
A demanding selection
No endless sorting: I only keep the beautiful pieces.
Clean items
Washed, ironed, ready to wear on arrival.
Honest descriptions
The slightest detail is mentioned and shown in photos.
A reassuring experience
Simple, clear, designed for busy parents.
Les Jolies Trouvailles is a selection of second-hand clothes and books for children aged 0 to 10, carefully chosen to accompany family life. Pretty, practical pieces, made for living, running, playing… and sometimes ending up covered in paint.
I regularly add new finds, so don't hesitate to come back for a look. And if you have the slightest question, you can always write to me: I'll be happy to answer.
Thank you for being here and keeping second-hand alive with me ✨
